Sun Tech Days 2009
2009 has been a successful year so far for Sun Tech Days. Thousands of developers around the globe have experienced first-hand the technologies that relate to their daily development work in Java, scripting, RIA's, MySQL, OpenSolaris, NetBeans and more! Awe-inspiring keynotes, hands-on training, dozens of sessions and the opportunity to network are just some of the many benefits of attending this global conference series. After eleven years, Tech Days has become more popular than ever thanks to enthusiastic and inspiring speakers and attendees alike. Here's to continued success in 2009 and even more in 2010!

I rebuilt the old Sun Tech Days pages in Advocacy today and consolidated 34
pages into 2. I had wanted to get those pages cleaned up for the
migration to XWiki because I have some of my own slides in there, and some people used my content as the basis of other presentations so I
want to preserve that history. But many of the pages and most of the

I wrote one of the TechDays 2008-2009 sessions on application performance tuning. Unfortunately I never actually got to give it to alive audience, but I did get this version recorded. Thanks to the HPC Watercooler for pointing it out to me.

The talk entitled " Developing and Deploying Securely " tha t I gave at the Sun Technology Days in St. Petersburg on April 9, 2009 was recorded and posted to the Russian equivalent of Youtube .
